I think the difference between a graphic novel and a
comic book is the length. Laika is 208 pages. ALso,
though I haven't looked into them carefully--they turn
me off, she said somewhat unfairly and snobbishly,
smile--I think the difference is that the stories and
characters are more like novels in their depth or
whatever.

Anyway, it would be very labor-intensive. At this
point  the only solution, which I suggested to
Shelley, was what Lora had--a nice friend to read it
to her with descriptions of characters, actions, etc.
