Indexes are not part of the "body text" and there fore aren't required. I do usually get great scans with my indexes so do submit them. But if the rest of the book is there Brian submit away. I think most would agree that having the bibliography, end notes, and appendicies is a good thing, but what about indecies? Is there a Bookshare policy on this? I ask because I have some titles that I scanned for my Ph.D comp exams where I left off the index in order to save time scanning, but the book is otherwise perfectly in tact.
