Keep getting something invalid amount of parameters. Guess a bit more
deleting is necessary, such as the instructions at the top of the
message as well as my signature. If that doesn't work I will probably
wait to contact Marisa.

Thanks, I figured out to remove my signature after two tries so maybe it
will work this time.
For now, I plan to validate only, I don't have a ready source of books
and I don't really have a lot of time to spend scanning.

Hey just a question because this was my problem.
Do you have your signature to be added to replies?
I found out that if I disabled my signature at the bottom of my messages
for
that particular message I was confirmed and joined. It is the only
website
that behaves in that manner, and I don't know why, but that was what
worked.
If that doesn't work drop our brave volunteer coordinator, and she may
be
able to add you, she is out of town though and won't be back for a week.

Well, I bit the bullet and am now a Bookshare volunteer, trying to get
on the volunteer list so I can figure out where I want or need to start.
At this point I plan on validation only, but I do have K1000. I also am
a medical transcriptionist with a background in medical terminology as
well as reasonable editing skills.
I'd like suggestions as to where I might be most helpful considering I
am working full-time ten hour days, off Friday, Saturday and Sunday.
I am still working on getting subscribed to the volunteer list, my first
e-mail came back telling me I did not have a command in it, who knows, I
am an old hand at e-mail lists, so will go out and try this again,
probably tomorrow.
Anyway, since I had tried to do this a couple of months ago and then
real life got in the way, I figured a few of you might want to know I
made it this time.
