Being able to search a book is another good point - especially for nonfiction books. But I found myself doing a search in a fiction book I had just scanned looking for a character's name because I knew I had seen it before, but I couldn't remember where. In a few seconds I had the answer. Try doing THAT on tape.

Hi Kellie,

I am one of those people with a hearing.

There is something else. When one needs to skim, braille is easier. One
cannot search for a recurring word or symbol in a talking book.
