Or three,

Purchase a software like Text Aloud, and get some good voices and make MP3
copies of the book.

Smile.

Windows Media player plays audio files. As these books are text files
Windows
media Player won't work.
You have two choices.
1, live with the Victor Voice.
2. when you use the book you have the option of getting a html file. If you
have
a html file you can read the book using Internet Explorer or another word
processor to read the book with your screen reader.

The CMX and SML files are files used in the daisy formatting. If you unpack
the
book and get the HTML file say old Possum's book.html" you can delete all
the
other files and just use the HTML file.
Do you have either Kurzweil or open book? if you do, you can also use these
programs to read a bookshare book.
