Thanks! This was a marvelous link.
I haven't had the bookshare unpack tool on my computer for two years as I
bought
Kurzweil about the same time I upgraded from Windows 98 to XP and a new
computer. My 98 machine crashed-and-burned with no survivors which finally
forced the upgrade.
I recently bought a Victor Reader Stream and was asked to see if bookshare
books
would play on the stream. So. With Daryl's help I unpacked a bookshare book,
made a folder in my $dtb folder and copied the book there. The book reads
just
fine, but there seems to be no heading and other information in the book.
Using
the 4 and 6 keys jumps me either to the beginning or the end of the book. At
that rate I might just as well unpack the book in Kurzweil and save and copy
as
a *.txt file.
