There is no special list for validators, and you don't have to do anything
special to be a validator as far as I know. If you're scanning books for
bookshare and uploading them already, then you can be a validator as
well. Just find the link on the page that comes up when you log in. It says
step one download. Press enter on that and you'll see a whole long list of
books in various formats which are ready for validation. There are a
lot of those babysitter's books on bookshare already. And I think perhaps
balance of power is as well but am not totally sure. It pays to check the
collection before undertaking a big scan like that. I think there use to
be a link for signing up to the volunteer list right on the fron tpage of
bookshare, but I don't know if that is true now or not.
