Should I resubmit the book? It's not a major thing; however it could confuse people if they read other books in the Pern series and the scan doesn't do that.

If you are using a word processor, why not just either fix them up as you encounter them, or do a search and replace - preferably making it case sensitive just to be careful - and fix them all up in one go?

Subject: [bookshare-discuss] Correction question

I am currently re_reading the Dreagonriers of Pern series of books by Anne McCaffrey.

I have noticed a discrepancy in the scanning; a typical scanning error where two letters are scanned as one.

Since I know what the word should be; how do I correct the error? The error occurs in the name of one of the major characters in the book.

The name should be F'lar and is occuring as Mar.
