It wasn't my favorite either, but I'm still going to scan it next. Allison
Oh, Good. That is one I really enjoyed. Of course I have enjoyed all of her books that I've read. I just read To Love Again, which I don't think is one of her best; it seems shallower, the characters not quite as fully developed as in the others. It takes place in the 5the century and does tell us something of that period before Britain became England, and the different tribes and groups that lived there from the Romans and after they left.

Hi all:
Several months ago I promised to scan The Duchess by Bertrice Small. I didn't forget. I just had a busy summer, and also I was scanning a series of books by Jo Beverley. I just finished the last book in the series. The series is called the Company of Rogues. These are stories about a group of friends that meet in school and their friendship continues as adults. I love to read books where you get to see characters from previous books.
Anyway, I will be scanning the Duchess shortly. I am picking it up from the library on Tuesday. ***** Grace > No virus found in this outgoing message. Checked by AVG Anti-Virus. Version: 7.0.344 / Virus Database: 267.12.1/135 - Release Date: 10/15/2005
