Hi. I'm curious to know where most of you like to get the books you scan. Do most of you use a print library, or do you buy your books? Do any of you belong to one of the online book of the month clubs?

I like to buy used books to scan. I have bought several books from Amazon sellers. Today I just received my first book from half.com . You can buy used books, textbooks, and movies from the site. It's owned by Ebay, but you don't bid on the items there. You just buy them like if you went to a large garage sale. Even with the cost for shipping, I can usually buy a book for half the price of a new one. The paperback I got today cost me a total of $5.50, and it's in like new condition. Amazon wants $10.98 for a new copy, and that doesn't include shipping.

On that note, I'm off to scan my new book. <grin>
