I personally think the recording side of Book Port a good idea especially if
you are in a hurry. It is slightly distorted though if you talk near to the
Book Port. In fact, one of the first things put on my Book Port was Frank
wishing me a happy birthday. I did do one or two memos on holiday as I had a
shopping list to do. However, I tend to suspect that, when I deleted one or
two of the memos I had, this might have caused my MP3s to become white noise.
This may need experimenting with.

One small question - we were looking for the microphone and even a sighted
friend of mine could not find it!

Julia.
