If you really must have AC power for your book port then I think they make battery eliminators that would go where the AA batteries go with a cord coming out. You would just have to make a little notch in the battery cover. But if your book port suddenly starts smoking or explodes then you'll have to call homeland security or Larry. Hope that helps!
