Well, let's see if we can track this down.
When you say you are using software 2.2.2, I assume you mean 2.1.0.2.
Is that correct?
What happens when you use the check for updates button in the Advanced
tab of the Options dialog? Does it just say that there are no updates
available or what?

well. I'm using the bookport transfer software that came with the
bookport.
