[bookport] ideas for fixing problem

Hello Everyone,
I have tried a different card, The original one that came with book port. I
reset the machine, and reformatted the card.
Still the transfer starts, but does not complete. The scale usually plays
through 3 times. The second time I hear the scale it is fast. Then the book
port announces the title of the book.
When I unplug the USb cable I do not hear the usual buzzing sound. I just
hear the chime that let's me know I've disconnected something.
Any suggestions would be very helpful.
