Clarification, Pam: when you say that you cannot switch cards between
units, this only applies to cards with Audible files and only to those
files, right? That is, if I have a card with mixed content (Audible,
text, HTML, etc.), I can insert it into another unit and still read the
non-Audible files, can't I?

The Book Port uses standard Type I flash cards. You will need to
activate the Book Port on the PC, through BP Transfer.

You cannot switch cards among units.

I understand that the bp uses type 1 flash memory cards. Does anybody
know
if it matters whether the card is classified as secure? We'll be
downloading audible.com books to the bookport and I know with the otis,
you
cannot use a secure card. But I do not know if this would apply to the
bp.
