[bookport] e-mail for updates

Aside from the list I have never received an e-mail about new updates.
If you check the checkboxes the unit looks for updates and tells you, you
don't get e-mails about it. That is what happened to me on Friday
although I knew of the new firmware. I then went back and it said there
was a beta for the transfer software. This is the way it is always done.
