All I did was opened the Excel document. I then selected the entire document, and copied it to the clipboard. Then I opened Microsoft Word and pasted. I went to the tables on the menu bar and arrowed down to the convert submenu. I hit enter and tabbed over to change table to text and hit enter. That worked for me. Good luck.
