What brand of Flash card did you buy? Your problem sounds identical to
mine. I wonder if we might have the same CF card.

i bought a new 4 gig cf 1 card. i formatted it on my computer. then plugged
it into the bookport. the book port goes silent. no key commands work. the
moment i plug in the card the bookport just freezes. any ideas?
