That makes sense. I'm experimenting with the html file outputted by the
daisy format to see if I can change the heading levels. Think I did it but
bookport transfer software is complaining, so I'll try again.

I think that the answer is that the manual is written in HTML (the text version is a byproduct and isn't what gets put on your BP). If a heading is a level 1 heading, it becomes a section; if it's a level 2, 3, or anything else other than a level 1, it's a subsection. This is what I've figured out from looking at the source HTML file.

I'd like to skip over the money section in usa today, for example, and move right to the next main section 1 and 4 and three and six don't seem to work as intended. What am I missing?
