You suggested the problem may have something to do with the firewall.
Sounds logical, but very few things in vista are logical. <smile>
It has to do with Windows Defender. Granted I could turn off
defender, but I could downgrade to XP, too, and I don't want to do
that if I can help it. Constantly getting this message every time I
fire up the machine gets way old way quick.
