Yes I am afraid it does have something of a scratchy sound. It's predecessor, the Road Runner, also had this at low volume but it could be overcome at higher ones. I thought it would bother me more than it does. ----- Original Message ----- From: "Melanie Peskoe" <mpeskoe@xxxxxxxxxxxxx> To: <bookport@xxxxxxxxxxxxx> Sent: Wednesday, August 03, 2005 4:26 PM Subject: [bookport] Sound Quality Hi list, Is the sound quality of the BP supposed to have a fuzzy kind of staticky background? I live in Louisville and will be seeing someone who works at APH this weekend who will take a look at it for me, but I just wondered if any of you have this problem? ----- Original Message ----- From: "Sarah Cranston" <cranston.sarah@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx> To: <bookport@xxxxxxxxxxxxx> Sent: Wednesday, August 03, 2005 2:04 PM Subject: [bookport] Re: TNA UK > You forgot the window-cleaning attachment! <GRIN!> > > > -----Original Message----- > From: bookport-bounce@xxxxxxxxxxxxx > [mailto:bookport-bounce@xxxxxxxxxxxxx]On Behalf Of Bruce Toews > Sent: Wednesday, August 03, 2005 12:54 PM > To: bookport@xxxxxxxxxxxxx > Subject: [bookport] Re: TNA UK > > > I think the Book Port is a wonderful machine, but I also see room for > improvement.
