[bookport] Re: Observations

        I said that it was necessary to format a new flash card in order to
use it in the bookport.  I see that folks are saying it's not.  However, I
believe you'll lose some functionality if you don't.  The bookport places
some identifying information on the flash card when it formats it, and the
transfer software uses that to do things, I think, like let you copy
audible books to your bookport.
