Bookport is a simple program, and it sure doesn't take much resources. An old computer that is a boat ankor, or is gathering dust in a basement of a friend will work fine for the job. windows 2000 with a USB 1.1 port will do fine I think. Keep your mac, and get an old junker windows machine from a friend. You must have enough vision to see the screen I am guessing.
