yes, once you have reformatted and have put a file onto book port, the manual
will reappear.

The largest card is a 4 gig. The bookport can format the card. You format
the bookport by pressing the 1 3 d and f keys at the same time. You go to the
aph web site and go to downloads and you will see a link for the bookport info.
I believe once you put a file on the bookport card, the manual will be loaded
back on the card. I got my bookport second hand, so am not sure, but I believe
the only thing on the card in the bookport is the manual for the book port. If
this is a new bookport you should have gotten a cd with it. There are books on
the cd that you can load on the bookport. There is a program to put on the
computer so you can load other files on to the bookport with the computer.
Like I said, I got my bookport second hand, so I had to go to the aph site to
get the books as well as the file to have the bookport work with the computer.
I do hope the little info I gave you, helps some. I am sure if I am wrong on
any info I gave you and can give you more info you can use, someone else will
speak up on this wonderful list.
