Correct--there's no way that the earphone jack could ever be used for such a
purpose. _Possibly_ the USB connector could be utilized, but I refuse to get
drawn into a guessing game as to what APH's plans are in this regard.

The earphone jack would have nothing to do with being able to connect
anything but headphones or external speakers. It would not be
technically possible to use it.
