Hi:

The issue has absolutely nothing to do with the type of flash cards used.

The reason I say this is this: One of the testersin the NLS beta
program didn't get their SD card reader/writer for some reason. They
were able to transfer the downloaded books to a CDR (or maybe it was a
CDRW) and the Victor Reader played them just fine.

So, it doesn't matter how the data gets to the Bookport. What matters
is that APH be able to support the protected content.

On 11/5/06, David Tanner <david-tanner@xxxxxxxxxxxx> wrote:
I would guess that they will have a solution in the new Book Port. But,
there is a chance they could do it in the current one. You see there is an
adaptor that looks like a flash card that you actually can put an SD card
into. So you could get that adaptor and put the SD card in that adaptor and
use it in the Book Port. Then the only thing APH has to do is make it
possible for Book Port to be able to read the file. Probably they could
handle that through some conversion, etc. in the transfer software.
