[bookport] MP3 Error

One of our stdents recently tried putting some MP3's onto a flash card.
The books were placed in the root directory instead of a subdirectory.
Attempting to play the files on the Book Port yielded some species of
MP3 error, I am not sure exactly what the error was. The files played
fine, if the card was plugged into the Pac MAte. Does anyone have any
ideas what this error might be?
