When attempting to open the transfer software, I receive a message (unable
to load HHAccess.dll please reload the program). However, when I attempt to
reload the program, I am told that the existing program is newer than the
one I am attempting to load. It then hangs up on a yes and a no button
asking if I wish to load anyway. Prior to this event, I went to My
Documents and chose a folder containing 11 files and, using the application
menu, sent the folder to Book Port.. The software sent four files to the
unit and hung up on the fifth file while continuing to say that it was
sending file 5 of 11 and showing a cancel button. Neither the cancel button
nor the close button worked. I restarted the computer with the same results.
I reformatted the card and tried again. When restarting the computer, I then
found the software refusing to start.
I am running XP Home. The card is a 64 meg. The files were the HTML files
that are extracted when opening a Daisy file from Bookshare.org. Oh yes, I
nearly forgot, for a few days, I had been receiving a message that there was
a firmware update that I needed to read books and that I should connect to
the net. I was already connected to the net and clicked O K. However,
nothing happened and things continued to work as normal.

Where do I go from here?

Sharon
