Hello Pamela and list, This is exactly how I have my BP setup. And I have a Dane 4GB card. While I might have noticed a little sluggishness, it's not bad at all. I have not had any problems with the Dane Electronics 4GB card.

Dave: I have seen sluggishness on cards if you have all of your folders onthe Root folder, even if there's only one file in the root. If that is the case, then you might have better success creating just one folder inthe root and putting all of your other folders off the subfolder. So, on the root, you could have the manual, Notes folder, and Memo folder and a BP folder, with all of your other folders inside the BP folder. David, did you reformat? Just curious. The 2gigcards are supposed to behave themselves now. Iknow I don't have too many files in the root folder of the cardbecausethere is only one file there--the book port manual. I can onlyconcludethat the slow response has something to do with the size of the card.Itisn't a consistent thing. It happens rarely so it isn't a problem forme.Nevertheless, it does happen. How well does the book port work with larger storage capacity flashcards? I'd be most interested to know what kind of storage folks arecurrentlyusing with book port.
