Hi Sandy and list:

Your suggestion is reasonable. But yes, I reformatted the 2 Gig card before I put anything on it.

Cheers,
Dave

My 2gig cards are sluggish, but that is because I didn't reformat after the latest update. David, did you reformat? Just curious. The 2gig cards are supposed to behave themselves now.

I kept buying successively bigger cards until my current one is a 2 Gig. Sometimes the book port is sluggish to respond to commands on this card. I've only experienced this degree of sluggishness with the larger card. I know I don't have too many files in the root folder of the card because there is only one file there--the book port manual. I can only conclude that the slow response has something to do with the size of the card. It isn't a consistent thing. It happens rarely so it isn't a problem for me. Nevertheless, it does happen.

I'm thinking of buying a bookport.

How well does the book port work with larger storage capacity flash cards?
I'd be most interested to know what kind of storage folks are currently
using with book port.
