Sandy, it would behoove you to look in to just why sound taxi crashed your
computer.  It has worked well on every machine to which I've installed it
and these have been XP and Vista.

That is easily explained.  Using Total Recorder is a lot more tedious and
time consuming than Sound Taxi, unless it will actually convert instead of
recording the files.  But... Total Recorder won't crash your computer,
either.
