Yep. You'll normally receive a notification that this is going to
happen, especially if you've locked that particular file on the BP. I
always do, just to save myself from accidentally erasing it.

Here is a question.  When the software for the Book Port is upgraded,
does the manual which is on the Book Port automatically get upgraded
also?
