Yep. You'll normally receive a notification that this is going to happen, especially if you've locked that particular file on the BP. I always do, just to save myself from accidentally erasing it. ________________________________ From: bookport-bounce@xxxxxxxxxxxxx [mailto:bookport-bounce@xxxxxxxxxxxxx] On Behalf Of James Nuttall Sent: Wednesday, July 27, 2005 1:37 PM To: bookport@xxxxxxxxxxxxx Subject: [bookport] Re: Book Port Beta History? Here is a question. When the software for the Book Port is upgraded, does the manual which is on the Book Port automatically get upgraded also? Jim Nuttall Sarah Cranston <cranston.sarah@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx> wrote: That's not a bad idea, I've done that myself, especially after a major upgrade. The weirdest thing was when I woke up one morning and my BookPort was right in the middle of the manual, and reading its little heart out. Seems I had forgotten to reset my date and time, so the sleep timer didn't go off. But, instead of the book I was reading, I woke up to hear all about sources for electronic books. -----Original Message----- From: bookport-bounce@xxxxxxxxxxxxx [mailto:bookport-bounce@xxxxxxxxxxxxx]On Behalf Of Sandy Licht Sent: Wednesday, July 27, 2005 10:58 AM To: bookport@xxxxxxxxxxxxx Subject: [bookport] Re: Book Port Beta History?
