Hi Peninnah and list:Thanks for the info. This may be true. If it is, then it sort of defeats my purpose in using a podcast. I know the podcast will play fine on my PC without any other hastle.

Dave, I think you have to bring your podcast into Audible manager first. I was told by Audible support that it is not possible to avoid this step no matter what device you are transferring too. It's the kind of MP3 decoding they use at Audible It's a pain to have to do this extra step.Peninnah FleischerNow the God of hope fill you with all joy and peace in believing, that ye may abound in hope, through the power of the Holy Ghost.Romans 15:13----- Original Message ----- From: "David Allen" <wd8ldy@xxxxxxxxxx>To: <bookport@xxxxxxxxxxxxx> Sent: Saturday, April 14, 2007 7:49 PM Subject: [bookport] Audible podcastHi list:Just wondering what I'm doing wrong here. I have a subscription to the New York Times audio digest on Audible. I like it. I thought by having it delivered as a podcast, I could save some time and a step in the process. So far so good. My luck ran out though, when I tried to transfer the downloaded podcast to the book port. It wouldn't go until I'd downloaded the file into Audible manager. What simple trick did I miss?Cheers, Dave
