[bookport] Another suggestion

Would it be possible for staff at APH to consider a settings file as part of
the options in Bookport Transfer. In this file, it would be good to be able
to set bookport speed, volume, sleep timer etc etc, and then, when the
bookport is connected to the computer, these settings could be automatically
reloaded onto the bookport. Also, it would be good if the bookport could
have its clock synchronised to the computer when it is connected. The
reason I am asking about this is that each time I change batteries, my
bookport returns to default settings, and the time and date return to their
defaults also. Ok, it only takes a few minutes to reset these I admit, so
if it cannot be done it's no hassle but it was just a thought.
Another alternative which I don't know if it would be practical would be to
save the settings in a file on the flash card, and then a command to load
these into the bookport. Again, only a suggestion, and if it's not
practical to do this, the Bookport still holds the top place in my list of
most useful gadgets.
