[bookport] Re: Alphabetizing files in the book port

Well, makes sense, and would be helpful even if on the pc.

This would actually be much more efficiently controlled on the PC if
that were acceptable.

If it wouldn't be a strain on the firmware, perhaps a sort order
setting in the bp settings menu might work so one could sort by name,
ext, date, size, etc. I would bet people will have different
requirements at different times.

That is something we are looking at.

Larry have you given any thought to alphabetizing files in the list of
files presented on the book port? In my opinion, that would make it a
lot easier to find files. For example, if you were looking for a file
whose name began with "J," and you were already in the L's, you would
know you had gone to far. As it is, you really don't know the order
of the files and sometimes have to arrow through the entire list to
find the one you are looking for.
Thanks.
