Subject: [NYC Area Pharmacognosy List] ASP 2012 logo contest

The Organizing Committee for the American Society for Pharmacognosy 2012 meeting (to be held in NYC) is looking for a logo. A prize of $500 or registration for the meeting will be given to the individual who designs the logo that is selected for the meeting.
The logo should look good on the website, abstract bag, and abstract book. Generally, this means that a simple design is best - one that can be reproduced at various sizes.
The 2012 meeting will be a joint international meeting with the European societies, so the logo should not emphasize the ASP. A few key threads relating to the meeting include: 

*Global perspective on science and Natural products
*The NYBG will be involved with a large medicinal plant show at the same time - but please be inclusive of a wide range of study organisms. *New York City. Something “edgy” or forward thinking to represent New York, not just the typical Statue of Liberty
