[booklyn] Fwd: Hurricane Katrina benefit - art auction



Hello!
A friend in our neighborhood has organized an online art auction to benefit kids' art programs in hurricane Katrina- affected New Orleans. The situation there is still not resolved - people are still living in trailers if they were lucky enough to have even gotten one! Check out Spike Lee's HBO documentary "When the Levees Broke." It's very well-done and informative.

And then go and bid on art in this auction!! It closes Oct 14. There's some great bargains to be had by some good artists.
