I am looking for one more talk for Adult Education on Oct. 5, when the
topic will be "The Future of the Book."
This show will also be doing double-duty as the bookless book release party for
my story collection "Why They Cried." (It's an e-book, which is why the release
party will be bookless.)
WORD’s Stephanie Anderson will talk about literary basketball, Anna Jane
Grossman will discuss obsolete writing technologies, and I will selfishly talk
about “The Future of My Book,” sharing what I’ve learned (by then) about how
book publishing works these days. (HINT: It involves gossip and zombies.)
Now I just need one more killer lecture on this topic. Pitch me at
jim.hanas@xxxxxxxxx if you have one.
And don't forget that Adult Ed returns from summer break Tuesday, Sept. 7, when
the topic will be "War."
Thanks,
Jim Hanas
