Also, check the cost of repairs, and warrantees on both units.
I have been burned by APH and its warrantees and costs for repairs.

Same here. I use them both, but I think I use the courier more. The
interface I think is better, and I do like the key describe function. It's
also a bit cheaper, especially if you are a member of bookshare, or have the
kurzweil 1000 reading system.
