It turns off automatically. How else can you turn it off? Seriously, I
really don't know.

Sharon,

When you leave your BC, do you actually switch it off, or do
you allow it to turn off automatically?

George.

Subject: [bookcourier] problem with BC

Almost every time I go away from the BC for a while, say, a
day or more, when I return to it and press any button, I get
a static sound and hear nothing else. The only way to fix
this is to take out the batteries and put them in again.
Anybody else have this problem? Hope I don't have to send it
to be fixed.
A couple of other strange problems are:
1. When I try to play the BC with advance mode on, after a
while I get an error message and am asked to reset the unit.
I can't write down the message; too fast.
3. If I put mp3s on a flash card through a flash card
reader, sometimes the BC won't be able to read them. I just
get an error message. I have no trouble playing the files
straigh from the card reader.
Thanks for your assistance.
Sharon
