Hi there. I own both devices. They are very similar. The main difference is
that book port has several features that are especially for blind users.
It's a bit easier to navigate I think on the book port, and the book port
does allow you to navigate by a letter at a time. The bookcourier has some
pluses too however. It has a key describe function that will tell you what
each key does, which makes learning the functions very easy. Also, I have
found that bookcourier is much more responsive when moving through mp3
files. Bookcourier is a bit cheaper. Other then that, they are very similar
in what they do.
