[bookcourier] Thinking of getting new laptop

Hi
I might soon be in the position of having to buy a new laptop, and I remember
that a few people on here have had issues with chipset incompatibility between
their computers and the Book Courier. As my BC has now become an indispensible
tool, I obviously want to avoid getting a machine that would cause such
problems. So can anyone tell me which brands/models I need to avoid? Or is it
pure guesswork!
Thanks
James
