Hi Kevin,

Well, it's really frustrating when it happens to you, so I can sure understand 
that.  Also, if you don't get any speech from the bc, you might try taking out 
the 
batteries for a couple of minutes and then put them back in again.  

I believe there is a total reset command for the bc even if you don't get 
speech, but can't recall what that one is.

Hi Kevin,

YOu might try rebooting your pc if you haven't already.  Sometimes the usb
connection seems to get confused and one can get the "not connected"
message.

If you put the card into the bc can you get the card size and free space
info from the bc?  If so, sounds like the card is fine.
