Hi Kimberley, I would have to disagree with you. Format 4 books are by no means hi-fi quality, even at audible.com, of which I am a member. The sound is often quite hissy and scratchy even in some cases. It is certainly good enough to read a book, but compared to a CD book bought in store, Audible's sound quality is junk. I am a member of audible.com, and have downloaded many format 4 files with wonderful sound quality. I have no idea what the problem could be. I would think format files in the UK would be the same as format 4 files in the US?
