As an aside on the stream - I have one on evaluation on behalf of the university where I work & I tried loading an MP2 onto it and, to my surprise, it played it fine.

Why, you might ask, do I want to play MP2 files? I have the DigiTV digital TV player/recorder and it can save the recordings in MP2, so I can listen to them using the Stream with no problems... Now, I must go and try it on the BC!

I also found that I really hate the realspeak voice used in the Stream and, if I remember correctly, that is what will be on the new BC, maybe I had better buy up some of the BCs that seem to be appearing on all the seccond-hand lists at the moment...

All the best,
Barry G

Subject: [bookcourier] Any inside info?

Hey All,

I've been checking the Book Courier site every day in January and
havn't seen any updated info on the new Book Courier. Does anyone
have any hints as to when it will come out and what the special cost
is for prior version owners? The Humanware product is getting quite
tempting. I've heard lots of good about the Stream.

Thanks,

Brett
