As an aside on the stream - I have one on evaluation on behalf of the
university where I work & I tried loading an MP2 onto it and, to my
surprise, it played it fine.
Why, you might ask, do I want to play MP2 files? I have the DigiTV digital
TV player/recorder and it can save the recordings in MP2, so I can listen to
them using the Stream with no problems... Now, I must go and try it on the
BC!
I also found that I really hate the realspeak voice used in the Stream and,
if I remember correctly, that is what will be on the new BC, maybe I had
better buy up some of the BCs that seem to be appearing on all the
seccond-hand lists at the moment...
