Just thinking/wondering if everyone who has physically still got eyes - even if they're not actually getting used as such - also has to continually make use of various types of eye drops, etc. etc. Aside from standard eye drops, I have tried out things like tear gel, which is a sort of local anaesthetic liquid for painful eyes, but currently sometimes use some actual voltaren eye drop stuff, since my silly eyes seem to keep on giving me pain, etc. - sort of feeling like they've got sand in them etc. some of the time. I at one stage went to go see an opthalmologist this side, and she wanted me to carry on using some or other specific eyedrops that she prescribed, roundabout twice a day, but I got gatvol of her sort of ignoring any questions I asked her, and just sort of changing the subject all the time, when I asked her about the funny/strange shapes I am permanently visualising as such, etc. etc., but in any case while she reckoned thos eye drops were healthy, they didn't really help for dry feelings/pain etc. Anyway, I know us blindies apparently don't blink often enough, and I do wear sunglasses to block wind/air if driving in someone's car for more than just a quick pop round wherever, but was just wondering if anyone else has a better/specific way of working around stuff like this? TIA (thanks in advance) Jacob Kruger Blind Biker Skype: BlindZA '...fate had broken his body, but not his spirit...'
