I already have a double eye patch thingymajig that I put together for a P
themed dress up party, but it's made from little kiddies pirate costumes, so
not too real.
Did however now get a real eye patch from a local chemist - and, it's still
a black one, so will try out maybe just padding it with something to
actually keep the eye closed, and then try it out - and think it's quite
funny that chemist/pharmacy will sell you a real, black, eye patch - don't
let too many children find out...<smile>

Ok, chatted to a local homeopathic GP here in kempton yesterday, and his
theory about my left eye sort of permanently burning me a bit is that due
to the slightly lesser muscle control on that side of my face etc., also
due to the original injury that caused my blindness - silly example is
that while I can feel well enough on that side, I will never try chewing
anything on the left hand side since I will end up biting myself due to
slight lack of proper muscle control - he reckons it's most likely that I
don't necessarily keep the left eye properly closed while asleep.
Either way, he reckons I should try get hold of some sort of eye patch,
etc. to make sure the eye stays closed at night, so will look into at
least trying this out - can be either a 'nasty' pirate, or my own version
of rambo with a bandana on at night...<smile>
Stay well
