If you mean rich edit - as in filling in a form in the email content, really 
not too sure, and that would, to a certain extent depend on your mail client 
software, but if you mean as in applying formatting to an emails content, that 
would also depend on your mail software, but generally you'd need to turn on 
rich-text formatting on something like the formatting menu, and then apply 
styles/formatting to parts of the content, etc.
