Ouch, I'll see what I can do about that issue. It seems that closing it through the menu doesn't work too hot either. I haven't had an issue with it on this machine, but perhaps windows 7 systems are the trouble systems.

Did you use alt + F4? Check to make sure that blasted iTunes sidebar is no
showing. It seems iTunes 10.4 really is nasty about this kind of thing.

It works well for me. I am not using the scripts at this time. Still did not let me close iTunes, check for updates when I used it. Using new iTunes, jaws, and window 7 home. I will wait for 45 r when it comes out.

I have never been update any of my apps using 10.4. It seems that the apps 
update is still broken.  I Shure hope that apple will fix this issue.

Dennis, it would be safer not to upgrade yet. I think John's nearly there
