Well, the link comes in fine, but I have not yet set it up in RAV. Other
things need doing at the moment, but I’ll experiment with getting it to record
later. One thing I do remember is that when the URL) is listed as a .lis one
needs a player that handles that kind of file. I note the URL includes
something about a flashplayer which may further complicate things.

Try setting the recording to stream rather than play through sound card and
see if this results in a recording. If so, and if you want to also listen to
the stream as it comes in, use control-t to tune in the station. I’ve found
some streams will record from record stream that will not record through the
sound card. I’ve found the opposite to be true as well on other stations.

Hello. I have Replay 8.43 and am using Windows 7 Home Premium, 64 bit. I
tried to do an automatic recording of something playing on my computer, and
when it did the sound test to see if I had to record it with "what you hear" or
"line-in", etc., there was no option like this. It said my sound card didn't
have an option for recording the "what you hear on computer" option. I know
they are making the newer sound cards so that these options aren't available
anymore and I read it had something to do with people trying to record
copyrighted material or something. But there are times when I do need this
feature, and I'm wondering if the new Replay AV comes with an enhanced driver
that would allow recording directly from the computer. If anyone has used this
new version and perhaps had trouble before with just your own computer's sound
card making recordings, please let me know.

    Thanks so much.
